Let's break down the goal! While summer camp is one of our biggest pieces, we are open year round and run multiple programs—with your help, we can ensure that everyone can get to Johnsonburg for summer camp, and retreats, as well as our nature preschool, Flourish.

• $85,000 for Send-A-Kid —  You are providing the financial support that allows a child to leave the world behind and find their voice at camp.
• $5,000 for Adopt-a-Staff —  You are sparking enthusiasm in staff who, like many staff before them, will learn to lead with empathy and "honor the presence" of every child and youth in their care.
• $5,000 for Retreat Scholarships —  You are ensuring that this "special place" remains a sanctuary where the world goes away and their faith journey continues.
• $5,000 for Flourish Nature School —  You are funding the "first arrival," where a child’s wonder is nurtured in the forest and they are met exactly where they are in their development.

This year, the Day of Dedication is Wednesday, June 3rd.

66 years ago, the campus of Johnsonburg Camp and Retreat Center was dedicated. Now, we know Johnsonburg as one of the most beloved summer camps in New Jersey. Let’s celebrate our dedication to the future of Johnsonburg and the lives of thousands of children, youth, and adults who will come through our doors year-round.

Your generous gift will make it possible for anyone who needs assistance to come to attend summer camp or other important Johnsonburg programs. Johnsonburg has always prioritized financial support as a central piece of our mission—we do not exist just to have summer camp, but to welcome all. Our Campership Fund does just that. It allows children and youth to come to Johnsonburg who would not be able to come otherwise.
