Fall Middle School Retreat
Whether you are coming with a youth group or coming on your own, the Middle School Retreat is THE place to be. You will be looking forward to a weekend of faith formation, community building and the joy of camp activities. Our retreats are highly rated for their guest speakers and care that our staff provide to ensure an amazing weekend. Each day we will have worship and in depth bible studies led by our staff to learn more about the scripture as well as traditional camp activities for all our guests to enjoy. We can’t wait to see you there!
Every story has an edit—the version everyone sees, the version people believe, and the parts no one else knows. This weekend we’ll dive into one unforgettable story from Scripture and explore the difference between the highlight reel and the whole story. Through interactive teaching, games, conversation, and a few surprises, we’ll discover what happens when we stop chasing the perfect edit and encounter the God who sees us completely. No cap…it’s tuff.
Rev. Lissette González Sosa
Rev. Lissette González Sosa is an ordained Presbyterian pastor and the founding pastor of Sanctuary + Seed, a creation-centered New Worshiping Community in Central New Jersey. She also serves as Director of Faith Formation at The Presbyterian Church at Bound Brook. She is passionate about helping people of all ages discover that the Bible is full of adventure, mystery, humor, and stories that still speak into everyday life. Whether she is preaching, teaching, tending a garden, or exploring the woods, Lissette believes some of the best conversations happen around a campfire. She is the proud mom of three amazing daughters and caretaker of a pair of furry guinea pigs who keep life full of personality and laughter.
