Fall Women’s Retreat

Fall 2026
Women’s Retreat

Hosted every spring and fall, our Women’s Retreats offer adult women a chance to step away from daily routines and find rest, renewal, and connection. With guests from a wide range of ages and life experiences, these weekends are filled with community, spiritual growth, and time in the beauty of nature.

Our Women’s Retreat starts Friday April 24th and runs through the late morning (after brunch) on Sunday April 26th. On Friday we do ‘getting to know you’ games and kick off the retreat. Saturday we start with breakfast and dig into the theme of the retreat. Either in the morning or afternoon, we do some camp activities like boating, zipline, crafts. After dinner we have a campfire and dig a bit more into the topic and end the evening with fellowship time. Sunday morning there is worship, we close the retreat and then there’s brunch before you depart. There is a masseuse here on Saturday that offers self pay 30-minute massages through the day. They are scheduled at dinner on Friday.
I think that’s about everything. Please let me know what other questions you have. We’d love to have you join us!

REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 13TH AT 12PM.

THEME

Soul Feast: Spiritual Practices for a Practical People

In the middle of full schedules and endless to-do lists, we so often long for a quiet place to catch our breath. We want to be deeply rooted in our faith, but we are practical people who live in a fast-paced world. How do we close the gap between our desire for a closer walk with God and the realities of our everyday lives?
Welcome to Soul Feast: Spiritual Practices for a Practical People! This retreat, led by Rev. Mary Beth Mardis-LeCroy, is an open invitation for women to step away from the rush, and gather for a time of refreshment, learning, song and rest. Based on Marjorie Thompson’s classic book, Soul Feast, we will move beyond the idea of abstract theology to focus on the tangible, everyday spiritual disciplines that sustain us.
Together, we will explore the core “courses” of a healthy spiritual diet: the restorative power of reading scripture with our hearts (lectio divina), the grounding rhythm of prayer, the liberation found in confession, and the transformative gift of common worship, including singing together!
Come exactly as you are—whether your soul feels completely empty, slightly depleted, or just ready to dive deeper. Come to taste, see, and feast on the practices that remind us who, and whose, we truly are.

SPEAKER & WORSHIP LEADER

Mary Beth Mardis-LeCroy

Mary Beth Mardis-LeCroy is the pastor at Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Stewartsville NJ.  Mary Beth grew up mostly in South Carolina, but attended schools in the Northeast (BA from Yale University and M. Div from Princeton Theological Seminary). Before landing in New Jersey in January of 2021, Mary Beth served as associate pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, IA for 3 years; and as pastor at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Madrid, IA for 10 years. She worked as a hospice chaplain at Hospice of Central Iowa for 2 years between her two pastoral calls, and directed a bluegrass/gospel band for the Saturday evening service at Plymouth Church in Des Moines “on the side” for well over a decade while in Iowa. She and her husband Matt (also a Presbyterian pastor!) have three children: Ellie, Wil and Calvin, and one cat, Abelard. Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her family, attempting to play music of all kinds, walking or jogging (let’s be honest, walking), praying with monks, and seeking out the best cannoli in the Lehigh Valley.
