Here\u2019s a sample of a classic camp day:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>7:30&#8211; <\/strong>Rise &amp; Shine! Get ready, brush your teeth&#8230;let\u2019s head to the Dining Hall!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:00&#8211; <\/strong>Breakfast starts at 8 o\u2019clock sharp! Dig in!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:45&#8211; <\/strong>It\u2019s time for \u201cFor The Good of the Community\u201d or FGC for short. This is a time we dedicate to minor maintenance needs, such as cabin cleanup! Most units also tidy a communal space too!<\/p>\n<p><strong>9:15&#8211;<\/strong>Ready, set, bible study! All of camp does bible study at the same time to ensure peace &amp; quiet for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10:15&#8211; <\/strong>Morning Activity round one starts now. Campers all over camp are doing and experiencing different things, from ropes to archery, to nature exploration!<\/p>\n<p><strong>11:15&#8211; <\/strong>Morning Activity round 2 begins! Time to try something new\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>12:30&#8211;<\/strong> Phew, Lunch time. Camp really enhances one\u2019s appetite!<\/p>\n<p><strong>1:15&#8211; <\/strong>Time for some rest, we all head back to the cabins for \u201cFeet on Bunk\u201d or FOB. We\u2019ll change at the end of this hour for swimming later!<\/p>\n<p><strong>2:15&#8211; <\/strong>Choice activity time. <em>For campers who have a \u2018choice\u2019 they\u2019ll pick a special interest to explore throughout the week. Popular choice activities include baking\/cooking, boating &amp; fishing, Scottish dance, music, and Tai Chi, just to name a few! If you\u2019re in a specialty unit (i.e. M.A.D.Camp etc.) this time is usually dedicated to that specific subject. Some of our teen camps also have specialized schedules!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>3:15&#8211;<\/strong> Afternoon Activities start, for our elementary campers we dedicate this time to developing their swim skills!<\/p>\n<p><strong>4:15&#8211; <\/strong>All camp swim! Your unit will either head to the pool or the lake for swim time. Non-swimmers can enjoy the canteen and outdoor games when at the pool!<\/p>\n<p><strong>5:30&#8211;<\/strong> Now we head back to the cabin to get into some comfy dry clothes for evening programs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6:00&#8211; <\/strong>Last meal of the day, everyone\u2019s favorite because: DESSERT!<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:00&#8211;<\/strong>Evening Program, sometimes this mean all camp games, carnival, or a talent show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:00&#8211;<\/strong>All camp worship &amp; songs, we all come together at the end of each day!<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:30&#8211;<\/strong>Evening activities for older campers, washing up &amp; winding down for our younger friends.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9:00&#8211; <\/strong>Light\u2019s out starts for ages 6-11<\/p>\n<p><strong>11:00&#8211; <\/strong>Everyone\u2019s snoozing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every day at camp is hardly the same, but we always follow a schedule!
