You provide the youth and chaperons, we provide the program, leadership, and music! Many youth leaders love knowing they can take their kids away for a retreat experience without having to do all of the planning. Johnsonburg retreats are also an excellent opportunity for your youth to connect with youth from other areas. In addition to the program, each retreat also includes seasonally appropriate opportunities to participate in various camp activities like the zip line, boating, and many more. Bring casual clothes that you do not mind getting dirty and a change of clothes if you do get dirty. There will be outside games and activities as well as free time on Saturday.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate weight coats, raincoats, sneakers, extra shoes, mittens, gloves, etc\u2026<strong>Layers!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Linens:<\/strong>\u00a0Sleeping Bag or sheets\/blankets, bath towel, pillow, washcloth<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous:<\/strong>\u00a0Bible, flashlight, pen\/pencil, paper\/notebook, toiletries (Soap, Shampoo, Toothbrush, etc.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Optional:<\/strong>\u00a0Guitar, camera, fishing pole and tackle, sun block, and spending money for camp store<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0This list is only a suggestion of what you will need for the weekend.<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Please check the weather for your visit!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><u>How To Register:<\/u><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you know how many people you will bring to the retreat, have a representative from your church <strong>call the office at (908) 852-2349 or email Kim<\/strong>, Registrar, at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:tom@campjburg.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kim@campjburg.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Group Hold Code is then created for you and your participants. This will save the exact amount of spaces you requested for your youth and adult advisors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will then be sent your Group Hold Code.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Give this code to all of your participants going (youth and advisors).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will go to <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.campjburg.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.campjburg.org<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and click the green button on the right side of the page that says \u201cRegister Online\u201d. \u00a0They will click the next green button \u201cRegister Online\u201d. \u00a0Our system will then check to make sure you have the correct browser and bring up another box. \u00a0In the center, \u00a0they will click \u201cContinue to Registration\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>If the participant already has an account<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> they will log in. \u00a0Once logged in, on the left side under campers, make sure to select the correct camper name. \u00a0On the right side under Enrollment, click on the green \u201cAdd New Program\u201d button. A screen appears asking if you have a Group Hold Registration. In the space under Enter GHR ID \u00a0is where they will enter the Group Hold Code. \u00a0Then click \u201cSave\/Next\u201d \u00a0at the bottom of the page. Only after entering the code will they be able to register with your group for the Youth Retreat.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>If the participant does not have an account<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, they will click on \u201cCreate New Account\u201d. \u00a0This will be for the parent\/adult. \u00a0It takes just a few minutes to fill out some biographical information to create one and add their \u201dCamper\u201d. (To register for events in our database system, everyone needs to be a \u201cCamper\u201d. \u00a0So please be sure to tell the adults when registering to add themselves as \u00a0\u201cCampers\u201d) A few steps into that process it will show them a page for <\/span><b>Group Hold Registration<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once the Group Hold Code is entered, the participant will select Youth Retreat and click \u201cSave\/Next\u201d. \u00a0They will then select the retreat they will be attending and the Tier Price for the retreat and click on \u201cSave\/Next\u201d. They will then complete the rest of the forms in the registration process. (With the Group Hold Code, <\/span><b>only the youth retreat you have a group hold for will appear.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every few days, the main contact on your church&#8217;s account will receive an auto generated report email letting you know <b>who has registered<\/b> with your group hold number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Group Hold Code will <\/span><b>expire<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> two weeks prior to the event, so please make sure everyone has completed their registration by then. \u00a0This allows us to plan for housing, meals and small groups. \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Thanks so much! \u00a0We look forward to seeing you at Johnsonburg!<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Camp Johnsonburg leads a series of programmed retreats and events every year.
