Alumni Reunion Began with a Tribute to Life and the Life of Leah Deni

Friends and family gathered to remember Leah Deni, to plant an oak in her memory, and to celebrate a life that shines radiently in all of us.

Later, 100 alumni joined in a barbecue that rain could not diminish, and Kent Smith, alumni representative, presented the camp with a check for $1355. Alumni came from as far away as Mississippi, Washington State, and England.

At 5 PM -- well, a bit later -- we gathered in the worship amphitheater for Mandy Rauffer's wonderful slide presentation reaching back twenty years at least. Mandy set a new Johnsonburg standard for slide presentations in what we trust will become the highlight of the 2006 reunion (May 27, 2006) and years to come. Thank you! GREAT to see you all!
